Happy Thursday! It’s almost the weekend! I hope you all had a great week and that today is your best day yet. My week was spent in the library because finals are in a week in a half. Basically I am dying right now. Also basically will be spending the next two week of my life in the library because this girl just cannot stay focused in her room when studying. Is anyone else like that or were you like that when you were in college? So it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the city and saying that I love it would be an understatement!READ MORE
A rebrand happened and I’m so freaking happy! Let me give you a little back story.
Some of you may formally know this space as lavishingg.net, I’ve been blogging on Lavishingg for almost a year but I just felt like that space was not truly reflecting me, my style, or my personal brand as much as I wanted it to. When I started blogging I said this will be me, about my life, about my personal style, a space that I could go to for constant inspiration, a place of ingenuity where creatives could connect, and just a creative outlet for me and my imagination. My blog name, what I was posting and my whole blog all together was just not making me happy, I want this space to make me happy. So I took a step back, I thought about names, the look and how I wanted my blog to feel. So here it is; welcome to Timeless Chic!
You won’t have to do anything, going to lavishingg.net will redirect you to my new site but hopefully you will get used to Timeless Chic soon! This new site will be about everything and anything, personal style, beauty, my travels, life in general and everything in between! I want this to be a space to where constant inspiration is fueled! You can check out my about page to get to know me a little better if you’re new.
I can’t wait to take you all on this new journey with me and I hope you stick around for the ride!
Below is my December moodboard to give you a little but of holiday / winter inspiration. Happy freaking December by the way! It’s the best time of the year! xoxo
a few weeks ago New York played a pretty funny joke on us and gave us a taste of 75 degree weather in the middle of October and although I got to pull out one of my favorite summer dresses I wasn’t the happiest about it. October is my favorite month of they year so I look forward to fall, the crisp weather, the start of layering season and pumpkin spice lattes, although I haven’t even snagged one of those yet.
Happy Monday, loves! It’s finally beginning to feel like fall in the city and I’m super happy about it. I love layering season! Turtlenecks and sweaters are my favorite, I definitely need to stock up on some! Where are some of your favorite places to get sweaters? Over the weekend I took a trip to the Brooklyn bridge for the first time which is ironically about 800 steps from my building. It’s safe to say it was definitely what I expected. Loads of bike riders, tourists everywhere, and people staring when you stop to take a photo… but none the less it was beautiful and I would definitely go back!READ MORE
